It must be alleged to be not true.

Calling someone or something a name without factual basis counts as fake news.

FIRST NOMINEE: Joseph Goebbels

Joseph Goebbels had many illuminating quotations. Two famous ones are:

"A lie told once, remains a lie.
But a lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth!"

If you repeat a lie often enough, the people will believe it...

As National Socialist Worker's Party propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels repeated the mantra that Russian Collusion by German Jews is the reason Germany lost World War I. The repeated lie led to retribution against German and all European Jews. The World War II concentration camps were real.

It was not enough to repeat the lies. German Socialist Workers' Party members, known as brown shirts, engaged in Antifa-like intimidation tactics to keep anyone who challenged their lies suppressed.

The investigations are on-going. If you watch Fox News, it is a witch hunt. If you watch CNN, Trump's impeachment is imminent.

...and I have the DNA to prove it! Ms. Warren says on her website that her Native American ancestry "had no role whatsoever" in her career advancment.

WHO LOST CHINA?

In the 1950's the Red Scare gripped the American media after Mao Tse-tung defeated Chiang Kai-shek for control of China after World War II. In his book, "The China Mirage", James Bradley chronicles how American media repeated positive story after positive story about Chang Kai-shek and inaccurate portrails of the Chinese people. Had our media provided an accurate picture of the Chinese people, we may not have been surprised when the Chinese people chose Mao Tse-tung over Chiang Kai-shek.

Instead, inaccurate media stories supported the formulation of Joseph McCarthy's investigations into the State Department communist conspirators and supported the Domino Theory which supported the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
